Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk, is a Marvel character. She first appeared in the comic book *Savage She-Hulk* #1 (February 1980).
She-Hulk gained her powers after receiving an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner (the Hulk). This exposure to his gamma-irradiated blood transformed her into a green-skinned, super-strong being. Unlike her cousin, Jennifer largely retains her intelligence and personality in her She-Hulk form. Her transformations into She-Hulk are initially triggered by anger, but she later gains control over them.
She-Hulk has been a member of various superhero teams, including the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and Heroes for Hire. Her legal career, where she often defends superhumans, is also a significant aspect of her character. She-Hulk is known for her wit, confidence, and fourth-wall breaking tendencies in the comics.
